Technical Support Coordinator (Logistics)
Job Purpose
JOB DIMENSIONS
- Multiple administrative interfaces between the Logistics entities (Aviation / Marine / Operations / Supply Base & Port / Lifting / HSE)
- Regular operational reports – weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, ad-hoc
- Logistics CMS documents ~ 40
- Focal person for Public Relations communication within Logistics
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
- Office based in Doha with occasional trips to operational locations (Heliport, Supply Base & Port, Contractor facilities)
Key Accountabilities
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure regular reporting of logistics activities to Logistics management
- Support the monitoring and reporting of Logistics KPI’s
- Maintain Logistics CMS library
- Assist in implementation of Logistics’ digital projects
- Focal person for Logistics intranet web-site development and communication
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support to Logistics management
ACTIVITIES
HSE
- Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards.
- Promote Logistics safety standards throughout the organization
- Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSE Policy.
- Participate in Company safety activities and initiatives.
REPORTING & PERFORMANCE KPI’s
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual department performance reports to
Logistics management
- Support the development of the department performance KPI’s
- Assist in the analysis and the use of the logistics data from Kabal logistics software tool
LOGISTICS METHODOLOGY
- Provide technical and analytical support to the logistics entities (Aviation / Marine / Operations / Supply Base & Port) in cost-related issues and contractor management
- Support the maintenance of all Logistics CMS documentation
- Participate in digital initiatives and the development of logistics digital tools, e-dashboards
- Promote cost saving culture, record savings in the Tawfeer e-tool
- Promote innovative ideas in Logistics, maintain ideas register
CONTRACT & CONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT
- Play a supporting role as a participant in service contractor audits and contractor management
- Support the logistics department with the creation of PRs (Purchase Requisitions) and Call-Off PO’s (Purchase Orders) in SAP
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
- Provide diverse administrative support to the daily functioning of the Logistics department
- Promote the Logistics department through the Company Intranet with a focus on performance indicators
- Perform necessary transactions in HR Hub in support of department administration.

Experience
- Minimum 6-years experience in a related Oil & Gas Logistics environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be computer literate and be able to prepare high quality detailed reports and presentations in MS Office Suite. SAP experience, MS Project or equivalent is a plus.
- Strong administrative and analytical skills
