Manager N+1: MP Commissioning Completion Head

JOB DIMENSIONS

The Commissioning Start Up and Readiness Lead will report directly to the Completion Head, and will be in charge:

• Being the main Project Team point of contact for all FOPS technical related topics
• Ensuring maximum operational inputs in the final design of the facilities
• Liaise with Start Up team and FOPS to ensure alignment has been settled for procedures in order to have a smooth handover between MP and FOPS.
• Technical design and procedures review for Commissioning Execution
• Follow up of pre-commissioning and commissioning based on OPERCOM and ICAPS.
• To assist and support the Commissioning Completion Head and Commissioning Technical Head for any activity linked to company’s projects in both preparation and execution phases at Doha, at the fabrication sites and offshore at Al-Shaheen field when needed.

ACTIVITIES

• Review and handover of technical documents, procedures and drawing with FOPS.
• Align in weekly basis with FOPS to ensure that all requirements and hot topics are well implemented by project when necessary
• Follows up the detailed engineering development (through regular meetings with Engineering Team, MANASA reviews) to ensure compliance with operational requirements (operability aspects such as accessibility, maintainability and also coherence with the defined operating philosophy, with the Field ESD logic), including identification of possible for improvement and follow up the actions
• Coordinates with the engineering Team to provide relevant Field Operations input as required (including inputs to Technical Queries, Derogation requests)
• Reviews OTP prepared by the commissioning team and liaise with the field operation team, witnessing the execution when required
• Prepares / updates / checks on site the ‘Red Line Markup” P&IDs at the end of construction and during commissioning phase. Ensures a set of P&ID up to date is always available for the offshore team
• Assists the teams for procedures for mechanical isolations, de-isolations and draining
• Ensure all documents to be handed over to FOPS are ready as per the agreement during project phase (Drawings, Isolation Register, Software and materials/tools, operating and maintenance manuals etc)
• To ensure that all Completions CTRs teams are aligned with OPERCOM philosophy following the same Company standards.
• Ensure the performance test procedure is well prepared and understood by all participate parties Controlled
• Assist Construction/Pre-commissioning & Commissioning requests.
• Provide multi discipline technical expertise and address any issues arising during execution when required
• Collaboration with the Contractor to ensure requirements for systems completion (e.g., walk downs and reviews) are clearly understood and adhered to.
• Monitor ICAPS assistant for proper documentation/prepare necessary dossiers as and when required.
• Review and handover of technical documents, procedures and drawing with Field Operation.
• Report, when required, on Commissioning and Start Up hot topics and progress.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

• Ruya Project Batch#1 involves the development of 1 CPP, 1 RP and 9 new offshore platforms. All these activities could be executed across different international sites. This Project will require complex interfaces with other entities of NOC.
• Brownfield environment designed on a different basis, minimum coherence to ensure smooth future operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering
• Experience: At least 15-20 years’ experience in oil & gas industry with minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Engineer role.
• Experience in multi discipline as electrical, instrumentation and control system
• Experience of pre-commissioning & commissioning in EPCIC Project
• Experience of pre-commissioning & commissioning withing FOPS Teams
• Experience on construction yard
• Proven track record of leadership and problem resolution
• Strong interpersonal and good communication skills
• Available for technical missions worldwide
• Experienced with Total General Specifications, OPERCOM and ICAPS, PRODOM and relevant codes and standards
• Experience with documentation manager MANASA
• Experience on Al Shaheen field,
• Language: Fluent English,
• Computer literate
• Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment
• H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
