ACCOUNTABILITIES

·          Ensure competitiveness, consistency, and alignment of salaries, benefits, and Employee Value Proposition for over 1,000 NOC employees.

·         Participate in local and regional salary and benefits surveys to benchmark NOC packages.

·         Accountable for accuracy of remuneration data and salary proposals for new hires and promotions.

·         Responsible for annual manpower budgeting, including salary reviews, performance bonuses, and Recognition & Rewards allocations.

·         Act as the main C&B interface with QatarEnergy and ensure alignment of all related policies and approvals.

·         Supervise, develop, and delegate tasks to direct reports, ensuring knowledge transfer and business continuity.

·         Provide guidance and support to HR and management on compensation-related issues.

·         Collaborate with other HR functions to ensure alignment and integration of compensation and benefits programs.

·         Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.

·         Oversee the design and administration of benefits programs, including health, retirement, and Personal Recognition & Rewards.

·         Ensure the quality of the HR CMS documents

 

JOB DIMENSIONS

 The Head of Compensation and Benefits will oversee a team of compensation and benefits specialists and will report directly to the HR Manager. This role requires collaboration with senior leadership and other HR functions to ensure alignment of compensation and benefits programs with organizational goals.

 

ACTIVITIES

 The Head of Compensation and Benefits will engage in the following activities:

·         Propose solutions and resolve compensation-related issues organization-wide.

·         Conduct informational sessions for management and employees.

·         Develop and maintain compensation structures and job evaluation systems.

·         Analyze compensation data and prepare reports for senior management.

·         Participate in compensation surveys and analyze survey results.

·         Ensure effective communication of compensation and benefits programs to employees.

·         Coordinate the development and update HR policies, processes procedures and manuals

·         Ensure that NOC policies are aligned with QatarEnergy’s

 

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

Office based in Doha, Qatar. Daily personal interaction with supervisor, HRBPs, HR Systems and Planning and Recruitment Team and HR Manager.

The job holder must be willing to participate in crisis response training and to take an active role in emergency response situations if required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

·         Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field

·         CIPD qualified or equivalent, or studying a Post Graduate qualification in HR, Business Management or a similar discipline.

·          Formal training in Job Evaluation and in Compensation and Benefits processes highly desirable.

·         10+ years’ experience in C&B of which a minimum of 3 should have been spent in a C&B leading role.

·         Fluency in English essential, Fluency in Arabic is a plus
