Accountabilities

  • Monitors NOCs Sustainability materiality aspects based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implements and/or supports sustainability initiatives in alignment with NOC sustainability roadmaps.
  • Supports assurance function of Sustainability initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develops and/or aligns communication, volunteering and awareness initiatives across the company to build a
    Sustainability Culture and Capability building

Job Dimensions

  • Role works with Sustainability Lead at corporate level and ensures due diligence, accuracy and care in all
    reporting and compliance to external requirements.
  • Engage with representatives from across company including FOPS, D&W,MP,E&C,Log and support entities
    like C&P,DBS,PRC,HR,GS etc. to collect data and identify business cases for internal review.
  • Monitor progress and performance of initiatives that will impact all NOC operational and support areas,
    including all platforms, rigs, vessels, barges, onshore offices, warehouses and overseas projects a well.
  • Participate in transversal project teams with SMEs/TRPs across FOPS, E&C,Log,MP, D&Ws, Public relations,
    General Services, Human Resources etc. to collect data, benchmark and perform gap assessments.
  • Performs exploratory research on potential clean or green technology that could have functional application on
    FOPS, D&W, MP, E&C, Log as well as support entities or across the company in general. Needs to take the
    initiative to identify leading vendors and technology providers available in both local and international markets
    that could have applications at any of the NOC departments or across the company in general.
  • Supports Sustainability lead to review, develop and formalize sustainability related governance, processes and
    roles and responsibilities

Activities

NOCs Materiality aspects

  • Keeps up to date with emerging sustainability related developments, initiatives engagement with external stakeholders and supports the Sustainability lead to determine current and future materiality expectations on NOC from Shareholders, Ministries, Regulators, Industry bodies and the community.
  • Implements initiatives to close gaps across all applicable SDGs.
  • Monitors and tracks initiatives in sustainability roadmaps, company scorecards ensuring alignment.

Performance management & Reporting

  • Consolidation and consistency of sustainability monitoring and reporting across NOC working with internal
    focal points across the company.
  • Consolidate and maintain data and completing weekly, monthly and annual report, for internal and external
    stakeholders, including Sustainability report.
  • Reviews performance and presents analysis results to Sustainability Lead
  • Review and ensure sustainability related aspects are consistent across NOC referential in terms of roles an
    responsibilities.
  • Implements sustainability related changes and updates to HSE Management System, Processes, KPIs, structures
    as and when required to do so.
  • Identify internal opportunities / gaps in terms of clean tech and scope and propose more sustainable ways of
    working and related tools.

Sustainability Culture and Capability Building:

  • Develop content and implement campaigns, internally and externally, including Sustainability Day/Week
    related events, campaigns and recognitions.
  • Organize and implement volunteering related structures and events to expand reach and impact of NOC
    sustainability related initiatives

Education

  • University Degree in Engineering

Certification

  • Project Management Professional certification preferred.
  • Sustainability related certifications/ trainings preferred (GRI reporting Certifications / trainings on management systems, auditing, etc)

Qualifications

Behavioral Skills

  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders and demonstrate skill in requirements gathering
  • Strong analytical skills, familiarity with business case development.
  • Consensus builder, comfortable to work with unfamiliar functions and personnel with diverse expertise.
  • Build trusting relationships.
