GHG Developee
Job Purpose
The job holder will be expected to influence and collaborate with NOC peers in Operations, HSEQ, Major Projects, Drilling, Digital Project Group, Engineering & Construction, Logistics, Legal and Contracts & Procurement, as well as shareholders and external focal points as required.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the Head of GHG & Energy Efficiency in progressing NOC’s GHG Reduction Plan and related initiatives.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating GHG reduction opportunities across operations.
- Contribute technical input to short- and long-term plans regarding GHG emissions and energy performance.
- Act as a support contact for internal and external stakeholders on GHG-related matters
HSE:
- Adopt, embody, and promote a safety culture, including Company safety initiatives such as Incident Free plus and the HSE Golden Rules.
- Advocate energy efficiency and environmental responsibility across the organization.
- Ensure that studies are conducted prioritising safety and minimised environmental footprint.
Key Accountabilities
Main Activities:
- Assist in coordinating and tracking elements of NOC’s GHG Reduction Plan, as directed.
- Support monitoring, reporting, and updating of GHG reduction opportunity hopper.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement GHG initiatives.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on GHG performance.
- Help identify data gaps and support robust emissions accounting and reporting.
- Participate in developing scopes of work and support execution or management of third- party studies.
- Assist in developing and updating GHG emissions and energy intensity forecasts.
- Support environmental reporting through data collection, validation, and consolidation.
- Review design concepts for GHG and energy efficiency opportunities and estimate potential savings.
- Provide operational support to optimize asset emissions and energy use performance.
- Contribute to digital dashboards and digitalisation use cases.
- Maintain awareness and review of emerging technologies for GHG reduction from the wider industry and Best Available Technology (BAT)

Education
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Process / Chemical / Mechanical / Environmental / Sustainability Engineering from a recognised university.
Certification
Experience
- Fresh graduates (internships, academic projects, or exposure to GHG/energy efficiency topics preferred).
